To Miss Phillips family......cause that's what we shorthand and typing students at Jamaica Plain High School called her back in the day. Funny, I was just skimming thru the Boston Globe and saw a familiar face from my high school days back in the 60's! Knew it was her. She was a great teacher and pretty! I loved being in her classes. I excelled in business ed because of her. Funny how some teachers just leave good memories. So glad she had a good long life. May she rest in peace.

To Doris's family, my sincere sorrow for your loss. We at the World Apostolate of Fatima, Archdiocese of Boston loved Doris so much, for her dedication, her friendship and her constant care and love for God and his mother. May she rest in peace and pray for us as she always did.
