Obituary of Barry Richards

On July 21 at the age of 66, of Pembroke, surrounded by his loving family Adored husband for 33 years of Kimberley (Foss) Richards of Pembroke. Dearly loved father of Kenny (Jenn) Richards of Hudson, NH; David (Samantha) Richards of Manchester, NH, Mirian Nawoichik (Adam) of Marion, MA and Sean Richards of Pembroke. Cherished grandfather of Brandon and Joey Richards, Michael and Nikolas Nawoichik. Barry was born in Lawrence on March 6, 1950. He graduated from Lawrence High School and Concord College. He served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Barry was employed as a Lead IT Project Manager for CenturyLink. He was most proud of his children and their families’ accomplishments and his greatest pleasure was spending time with them. He could often be found surveying his lawn to make sure that it looked like the ninth hole at a golf course, cooking an outstanding set of steak tips on the grill or driving over to Scituate Harbor to enjoy the view. When the Patriots were playing, dinner was always delayed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours for Barry on July 26, 2016 at Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeeset Street, Pembroke, MA from 4-7 PM. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 27 at 11:00 at Shepherd Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
