Ron,
I was sad to hear that your brother John had passed. I have been thinking about you and Jeanne and how difficult this must be for your entire family. I didn’t know John, but having spent time with you and Jeanne I imagine he was a warm, funny and loving guy. No words can take away the pain or empty feelings, but know that you have tons of love and support around you.

Amy, Jay, Lauren and Christian:
This is nothing that you don't know but I hope it helps to hear from so many of us that your husband and father was recognized as such a truly good and kind man. It sounds trite but sadly it's a rare thing - to have such consistency of integrity and goodness. He was a friend of mine and we traded advice when work was challenging and advice to help us each do better as were both passionate about our jobs. John cared about everyone and everything that he was responsible for, really cared.
Most importantly though, John was always, always a family man. He spoke about all of you to all of us so often and with such pride and love. He did not "compartmentalize" - if you worked with him you knew ALL about his family - he worked hard, but you were always there with him.
I am a better person for having had him as a friend. I will miss that wry smile and self-deprecating humor. I am so sorry that you and we lost him. The last thing he would have ever wanted would be to cut short his time with you. Jennifer and William Fahey

Dear Willett family. I'm saddened to learn of the loss of my friend and Tabor teammate Johnny. i will remember his smile and easygoing, utterly unpretentious, friendly and uncommonly kind nature. Most boys in high school exist within a shell of a tough exterior. Not Johnny. He was nothing but kind hearted and warm all the time. Amy, Jay, Lauren and Christian: John's spirit will forever create meaning in new ways for you as you carry him forward through life. Surely he will continue to touch and help others through you.

I am deeply saddened to learn of John's passing. I feel blessed to have known and dealt with John over many years in the insurance business, going back to the '80s when he regularly visited my Agency. I always held him in the highest regard as he was a "go getter" and a true professional. Much more than business though, John was a wonderful person; he was very engaging, charismatic and just a fun guy to be around. My sincerest sympathies and condolences go out to Ron, and the entire Willett family. May God bless John and may he rest in peace.

It was an honor and a blessing to have known and worked with John the last 10 years at Aon. After his tenure as sales manager for our Boston office, it was no surprise he was promoted to a leader for our huge company. John was so wonderfully kind, articulate, professional, positive and inspirational in his approach to business and life, yet the most humble man I think I’ve ever known. Heartfelt air hugs, love, and prayers to those that he left behind. God has called him to an even greater role that he will master yet again and make us all proud.

You are all in the thoughts of Michael and I. Words cannot begin to express how sorry we are for your loss. He touched so many lives and influenced so many more. Throughout his illness I prayed and asked God so many times to make this go away. John will continue to be present in the lives of his children, wife, parents and siblings. Stay strong and continue to live a life that he would want for all of you.
