Charles B. Mulrain, 92, passed away on June 11, 2016. He was the Loving husband of the late Olga Jean (Skibinski) Mulrain for over 68 years. Born to his parents, the late Charles Mulrain and Alice Quinn (Grant) Mulrain. He was the loving father to Carol Jean Mulrain, Charles M. Mulrain and his wife Deborah and William J. Mulrain and his wife Jennifer. He was a devoted grandfather to Michelle Hojeily, Kimberly McLaughlin, Kathleen McCarthy and William Mulrain. He was a great grandfather to Jonathan Hojeily, Ellie Hojeily, Bradley McLaughlin, Erika McLaughlin and Justin McCarthy and an Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is pre deceased by his siblings Helen Weber, Peter Mulrain and Muriel Brown. Charles was a very proud Marine, who served his country in WWII and was also the recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Charles had a Successful career in sales and marketing divisions in several corporations. He was the past president of the Pembroke Police Auxiliary. Charles was the Civil Defense Director for Pembroke for many years, he also had influential contributions to the town of Pembroke. He had a deep passion and love for his farm in Maine. Charles was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St. Pembroke on Wednesday June 15, from 6:00 to 8:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, June 16 at St. Theclas Church in Pembroke at 10:00AM. Internment will follow at the Water St. Cemetery in Pembroke.
