Obituary of William J. Donovan

William J. Donovan Jr, 82, passed away on May 25, 2016. He was the loving husband of Marie F. Donovan for 58 years. Born in 1934 to his parents, the late William J. and Catherine Donovan. He was the devoted father to William J. Donovan III, Linda J. Crawford, Pauline Donovan and Amy Donovan-Parker. He was a loving grandfather to his grandson Jeffrey P. Crawford. He is also survived by his sisters Sheila Standring and Susan Shannon and his brother, the late Brian Donovan. He was also a uncle to many nieces and nephews. William had an incredible love for hockey and boating. He was a devoted family man who loved life. He worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Rinks and Pools for many years. He will be greatly missed by friends and family. Memorial Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, on Saturday June 4, from 4:00 to 8:00PM.
