Obituary of Gladys Jacobs

Gladys I. (Merada) Jacobs passed away from this life to the next on May 12, at age 89. She was the loving wife of the late Donald Jacobs for sixty one years, prior to his passing in 2007 and the devoted mother to the late Scott David Jacobs. Born in Kingston MA. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Blanche Merada and the sister of the late Albert Merada. Gladys was a lifelong resident of Kingston who exhibited loving care and concern for her family , friends and neighbors. She was a member of the Mayflower Church for over half a century. Much time was also given to the Salvation Army Corps Community Center in Plymouth, MA. Her quiet nature and giving spirit will be missed greatly. A heartfelt thanks goes out to Wingate at Silver Lake for their compassionate care for Gladys in recent years. A short graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery , Kingston on Friday, May 20 at 10:00AM, with Pastor John Eklund, officiating.
