Obituary of Edward G. McDonough

Edward G. McDonough, 78, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Brenda M. (Fultz) for 54 years. He is survived by his sons, Edward H. of Pembroke, Steven M. of Hanson, Michael J. of Pembroke and John T. and his wife Carol of Kingston . He was the devoted grandfather to Samantha J. and Riley M. of Pembroke. He was the son of the late Walter and Florence McDonough. Brother of the late Eileen Turner, Roberta Joyce, Geraldine Canning, Walter, George and Thomas McDonough. Edward was a retired claims supervisor for a Home Insurance Company. He was a former Board Member and coach for Pembroke Youth Hockey and he was also a coach for Pembroke Baseball. Edward was raised in Milton, MA and attended Archbishop Williams High School and went to St. Michael's College in Winooski, VT. Donations in Edwards name may be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle #326, Plymouth, MA, 02360. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St. Pembroke on Sunday May 15, from 4:00 to 8:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, May 16, at St. Thecla's Church in Pembroke at 9:00AM. Internment will be on Tuesday, May 17, at the St. Joseph's Cemetery in W. Roxbury MA.
