Obituary of Lynnda W. Schofield

Lynnda (Westendorf) Schofield, 74, a longtime resident of Duxbury, passed away on May 7, 2016. Beloved mother of Jeffrey Schofield and his wife Susan of Duxbury, Melinda Dennett and her husband Paul of Kingston, Keith Schofield of Kingston; and their father Buzz Schofield. She is survived by her late soulmate, Jay Sullivan and his son Jay and wife Lisa Sullivan. Daughter of the late Lynn and George Westendorf. Sister to Gary Westendorf and his wife Myriam of CA. Cherished grandmother to Austin and Cameron Schofield, Westen and Trever Dennett, Dylan and Chloe Schofield, and Jay and Elisabeth Sullivan. Lynnda is also survived by her Aunt Joan Holl of FL. Lynnda is a graduate of Teaneck High School in NJ, and went on to graduate from Lasalle Junior College. Lynnda was happiest when she was sitting on her deck while surrounded by her family and friends. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, May 12th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, (Rt. 106) Kingston. Due to ongoing construction at Holy Family Church, a funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 13th at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, 40 Canal St, Marshfield. Family and friends are welcome to meet directly at church on Friday morning. Interment will be at the Mayflower cemetery in Duxbury. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Soul Sisters Foundation Inc, Po Box 128, Kingston, MA 02364.
