John E. Nolan, 57, of Plymouth, passed away on May 4, 2016. John is survived by his wife and best friend, Ann (O'Loughlin) Nolan,who he was married to for almost 25 years, his handsome son, Ryan and beautiful daughters, Kaitlyn (Katie) and Bridget. His parents, John and Carol (Arzbaecher), preceded him in death. Beloved son-in-law of Marianne O'Loughlin. Preceded in death by father-in-law, Francis Patrick (Bud) O'Loughlin His living relatives include his sister, Laurie (Jeff) Blei, and brothers, Tom (Nora) and Tim. He was loved and cherished by his many aunts , uncles, cousins, neices and nephews.John was the Division President of Reinhart Foodservice in Boston. He also served as the President of Sysco-Portland for many years and was the owner of Bogart’s Charhouse in Tinley Park, IL. John dedicated his life to his family, friends and the food service industry. John was bigger than life! He will be remembered for living his life with gusto and devoting his life to love, laughter and to those around him. His passion for golf, basketball and hospitality were renowned. He will be remembered by all as a great husband, the best, one-of-a-kind father, phenomenal leader, passionate mentor and loyal friend. He was strong, intelligent, hard working and charismatic. He had the uncanny ability to light up any room he entered. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all. John was so passoniate about his family, living and enjoying every moment and that is how he would want to be remembered.A memorial service will be held at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church located at 803 State Rd, Plymouth, MA 02360 at 6pm on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Memorial services will be held at future dates to be announced in Chicago, Il. and Portland, Oregon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John Nolan Memorial Fund. Scholarship in John’s honor, with details to be announced at www.shepherdfuneralhome.com.
