Walter Pollock III, 38, of Wareham passed away on March 5, 2016. Walter was born in Boston and raised in Quincy. He served proudly as a CH-53 Crew Chief in the United States Marine Corps. He then went on to work as a Nuclear Security Officer in Plymouth. Walter was the loving father of Brian and Sean; beloved son of Walter Pollock, Jr. and Gail (Tempesta) Pollock of Carver; brother of Kerry Pollock and her partner William of Weymouth, Dianna "Dede" Patterson and her husband Joseph of Abington, and Steven Pollock of Weymouth; uncle to Ashley, Jessica, Joey and Ryan. He is also survived by his fiancé, Christine Foley, of Abington as well as extended family, friends and his hockey community. He will be remembered as a kind, generous man who was devoted to his boys. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St. (Rt. 106) Kingston on Monday, March 14 from 4:00 to 8:00PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home on Tuesday at 10:00AM. Internment will follow at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne.
