Obituary of Michael Cryan

Michael Cryan, of Pembroke, died suddenly on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at home at the age of 52. Originally from South Weymouth, Mike was a loyal and gentle friend with a great sense of humor. An Eagle Scout, Mike graduated from Weymouth South High School in 1982, Massasoit Community College and UMass Dartmouth, obtaining a BS in Electrical Engineering. He loved all things scientific, and enjoyed listening to music, being at the ocean, tinkering with audio and electronic projects and watching NASCAR. He is survived by his wife, Laurie of Marshfield; his sister, Cathleen Broderick and husband Jim of Bridgewater; nieces, Shannon and Brenna; and nephew, Jake Broderick. He was the son of the late Jack Cryan of Vermont and the late Jean Cryan of Bridgewater. Memorial visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street, (Route 14), Pembroke, on Thursday, February 18, 2016, from 2:00-3:30 PM, with a service starting at 3:30 PM.
