Leslie Lynne (Brown) Savoie, age 78, of Plymouth, formerly of Randolph, died on Friday, January 8, 2016, at the Life Care Center in Plymouth. She was born in Ann Arbor, MI, a daughter of the late Raymond & Ada (Hackett) Brown. For 18 years, Leslie worked at Gillette in the Human Resources Department and then for over 10 years she worked at Lifetouch Studios in Middleborough. She belonged to the Plymouth Council on Aging and on the board of the Friends of the Council on Aging. For years, Leslie was active with the Salvation Army. She was a boy scout and girl scout leader with meetings held at the family residence. Leslie was also very instrumental in starting the boys soccer league in Randolph. Leslie was the beloved wife for 54 years to Dennis Savoie; devoted mother of Diandra Bergman (Tom Epstein) of Carver, Jeanne DeLoach (David) of The Woodlands, TX, Jeffrey Savoie (Julie) of Sharon and Stephen Savoie (Kelly) of Pembroke; loving grandmother of Summer, Aja, Luke and Jake; dear sister of Elaine Norwood of SC, Joanne Reid of IN, Duane Brown of MI and the late Maxine Miller. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, (Route 58), Carver, on Thursday, January 14, 2016, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services at Shepherd Funeral Home, Carver, on Friday, January 15, 2016, at 9:00 AM, followed by her funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 130 Main Street (Route 58), Carver, at 10:00 AM. Interment services will be private and a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Leslie's memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 8 Carver Street, Plymouth, MA 02360.
