Obituary of Phyllis M. Jackson

Phyllis Jackson, age 78 of Carver, MA, passed away at 5am on Friday the 1st of January 2016 at Sippican Healthcare Center. She was born to the late William Methot and Florence (Baker) Methot of Rockland, MA on June 21, 1937. Phyllis was the consummate mother and homemaker. Her passions included cooking for her family and friends, cake and candy design, and crocheting. She even brought this talent to the Sunset Nursing Home in Rockland, MA.She is survived by her sister Patricia Kirchick of Burlington, VT, children Frederic Schomburg and his wife Mary, Swansea, MA, Deborah Wainio and her husband David, Carver, MA, and William Schomburg and his wife Weibin (Winnie) Xue, Fairfax, VA. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Frederick, daughter Diane Schomburg and sister Eileen Gaspa. Phyllis was also very proud of her 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home 116 Main St. (Rt.58) Carver on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
