Obituary of Marcia A. Grey

Carver, Marcia A. (Holmes) Grey, 90, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 after a long illness at Oak Hill Golden Living Center. Mrs. Grey was born in Plymouth, she lived in Plympton for 30 years and spent 20 years living in Carver. She retired from Jordan Hospital Records Dept. Later in life she worked at the Carver Council on Aging and was a member of the Plympton Congregational Church, and the South Carver Lions Club. She enjoyed being with family, and friends and helped others in many ways. Mrs. Grey is predeceased by her husband Burton R. Grey Jr, and her son Douglas A. Grey Sr. She is survived by her sister Betsey Randall, her three daughters, Cynthia H. Shaw and her husband Curtis, Shirley Grey; Marcia J. Doten and her husband Arthur and a son Frederick B. Grey and his wife Diane. She was the devoted grandmother to five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home 116 Main St. Carver (Rt.58) on Friday, November 20, from 3:00 to 6:00PM with a Service at 6:00PM. Internment will be held on Saturday, November 21, at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Plympton at 10:00AM.
