Obituary of Marilyn Drew Marsh

Marilyn Drew (Ford) Marsh, age 90, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015. Born in Kingston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Winthrop Drew Ford and Mabel Florence (Campbell) Ford. In Fairhope, Lindy, as she was referred to by friends and family, was active in the Fairhope United Methodist Church, where she was a member. She was also active in the local hospital auxiliary, a member of the Baldwin County Senior Travelers, and was a hostess for the Eastern Shore, AL Welcome Wagon. She is survived by her son Kent W. Sampson (Laura) of Flat Rock, NC; step daughter Pamela Jamrog (Daniel) of Pisgah Forest, NC; step son Richard Marsh (Susan) of Glen Allen, VA; two grandchildren, Melissa and Bryan; and a host of other loving family and friends. A celebration of Marilyn’s life was held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the Fairhope United Methodist Church in Fairhope, AL. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Evergreen Cemetery in Kingston, MA.
