Obituary of Janis M. Dearing

Janis M. (O'Keefe) Dearing, age 67, of Plymouth, formerly of Dorchester, died on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John & Lorraine (Smith) O'Keefe. Janis was the beloved wife of Fred Dearing; loving mother of Michael Dearing & his wife Erin of Plymouth and Kevin Dearing of Middleborough; adored grandmother of Mikayla, Derek and Dylan; dear sister of Carol Bradley of Plymouth, John O'Keefe of Braintree, Richard O'Keefe of Plymouth, David O'Keefe of Bourne and Michael O'Keefe of Halifax. She is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Monday, October 19, 2015, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston, on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at 10:00 AM, followed by her funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 580 Monponsett Street, (Route 58), Halifax, at 11:00 AM. Interment services will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Bennington Boulevard, Bourne, at 1:00 PM.
