Obituary of Mary Ellen Nevins

Mary Ellen (Fitzgerald) Nevins, age 58, of Kingston, died on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at her home. She was born in New Britain, Connecticut and grew up in Massachusetts on the South Shore. Mary Ellen was a lover of the beach, family vacations on Martha's Vineyard and teaching in Halifax and Kingston schools and the Cardinal Cushing School in Hanover. For 34 years, Mary Ellen was the beloved wife of Brian Nevins; loving mother of Kathleen Nevins Klimm & her husband Donald Klimm of Kingston and Patrick Nevins of Kingston & Jennie Hardin of Boston; devoted daughter of Laurence Fitzgerald of Cotuit & the late Patricia Fitzgerald; dear sister of Eileen Cavanagh of Quincy. She was a loving aunt, cousin and friend to many. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Friday, September 4, 2015, from 4:00-7:00 PM. Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston, on Saturday, September 5, 2015, at 9:00 AM, followed by her funeral Mass at Saint Joseph's Church, 272 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, at 10:00 AM.
