Lloyd S. Hickman, age 62, of Carver, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Stoughton. Born in Everett to Lloyd and Hazel Hickman, he grew up and lived in Malden before moving to Carver where he resided for the last 29 years. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Hickman of 43 years and his children; Marisue and her husband George, Lloyd and his wife Heather, Elizabeth and Joseph. Lloyd was the loving Grandfather to Alora and Katherine Hickman. He also leaves behind his sister Carol Hickman of Malden; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family members. Lloyd was a generous and godly man, serving as a Deacon for more than 25 years at Church of the Vine in Carver. He worked as a skilled industrial electrician and maintenance mechanic for Quinzani’s Bakery in Boston for over 37 years. He was a licensed Pilot for several years and enjoyed Flying small planes. He also enjoyed vacationing on Cape Cod and the Hawaiian Islands with his wife and family. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, September 3rd, from 3:00 - 5:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St, (Rt. 58) Carver. A funeral service will be held at the Church of the Vine, 5 Wareham St, Carver. Lloyd will be laid to rest at the Plymouth County Cemetery, Plymouth.
