Obituary of Robert Lawrence Buckley

Robert (Bob) Lawrence Buckley, age 88, of Duxbury and Sagamore Beach, formerly of South Weymouth and Port St Lucie, FL passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015, surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was born in Quincy and graduated from Braintree High School. He served in the army during World War II.
He was married for 62 years to his wife Josephine and raised 7 children.
Bob was the founder of Buckley Associates Inc., an HVAC company of Hanover, Massachusetts. The company just celebrated their 45th anniversary on March 17th.
His passions were golf, and tennis and he was an avid Boston sports fan. Bob loved boating, traveling, and especially spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Sagamore Beach Colony Club, the Weymouth Elks, and the Knights of Columbus.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Josephine (Brennan) Buckley; his loving children, Robert Buckley II, and his wife Karen of Sagamore Beach, Steven Buckley and his wife Carolyn of Laconia, NH, Tom Buckley and his wife Kim of Hebron, CT, Susan Mielbye and her husband David of Hanson, Kathy Pagliuca and her husband David of East Bridgewater, Dan Buckley and his wife Kris of Clifton Park, NY and the late Kevin Buckley of Plymouth.
He is survived by 19 grandchildren; Robert III, Ryan, Sean, Paul, Amanda, Jennifer, Evan, Tom, Kahler, Tim, Jessica, Kristi, Michelle, Joseph, Adam, Ryan, Matthew, Erin, Kelly, and six great grandchildren; Benjamin, Claire, Zachary, Talia, Clark, and Abigail.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours for Bob on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. in the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St., Kingston, MA. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Saint Mary's Church, 313 Court Street, North Plymouth.
