Obituary of Fred D. Svenson

Fred Svenson, 75, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at his home in Kingston, Massachusetts. Fred was born on March 20, 1940 to Fred and Emilie (Lecaroz) Svenson in Malden, Massachusetts and was one of eleven children. Passionate about being a freemason at the Corner Stone Masonic Lodge in Duxbury, Massachusetts, Fred also enjoyed working as a Water Commissioner in the town of Kingston for the past 34 years and served on many boards for the town during his time. He also served in the United States Air Force from 1958 to 1962. Fred is survived by his wife, Penny, sons Robert (Pat) Svenson and Fred D. Svenson III, and daughters Brooke Svenson, Kristen Svenson and Kathy Leonard. Visiting Hours will be held on Saturday July 11, from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St. (Rt.106) in Kingston.
