Obituary of Dorothy P. Ripley

Dorothy "Pat" P. (Mott) Ripley, age 78, of Plymouth, formerly of Hanson, died on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Wingate at Silver Lake in Kingston. Born in Weymouth, she was the daughter of the late Arthur & Dorothy (Southworth) Mott. For many years, Pat was a registered nurse working at Boston City Hospital and later on at the Plymouth County Hospital. She enjoyed travelling and painting artwork. Pat was the loving mother of Mark Ripley & his wife Vanessa of Belmont, New Hampshire, James Ripley of Halifax, Scott Ripley & his wife Debbie of Pembroke and Jill Ripley of Halifax; dear grandmother to many and dear sister of Martha Earle of Weymouth and Edwin Mott of New Hampshire. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street, (Route 14), Pembroke, on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, from 4:00-7:30 PM, with a prayer service starting at 7:30 PM. Graveside services at the Center Cemetery, Oldham Street, Pembroke, on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pat's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
