Joanne (Breen) Viator, also known as Mom, Mama Jo, Kooky Jo Jo, the t-shirt lady at Bluegrass on the Bogs, and Gramma to her grandchildren and to the children in the neighborhood. Mama Jo born Dec 10, 1949, passed away May 27, 2015 due to a lengthy illness that she fought fearlessly. Joanne is survived by her husband William "Bill" Viator of 45 years. Her two sisters Elizabeth and Deborah. Her two daughters Paula and Pamela, and Her pride and joy her grandchildren. William (2), Katie (4) and Lizzie (10). Joanne was a avid fan of bluegrass music and took part in the Bluegrass on the bogs music festivals. Gramma Jo was the life of the party, and never one to shy away from a good water fight against the neighborhood children. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, June 1st at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (rt. 58) Carver, from 4-8:00 PM. Please no Jackets, no ties are allowed. Jeans and t-shirts are preferred.
