Obituary of Helen A. Riccardi

Helen A. (Ladny) Riccardi, age 86, of Plymouth, died on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at the Newfield House in Plymouth. She was born on June 8, 1928, in Cambridge, the daughter of the late Michael & Sophie (Chochrek) Ladny. For many years, Helen work at the former Harvard Trust Bank located in Cambridge. She enjoyed the activities and attending the Kingston Senior Center and was an avid reader. Helen was the beloved wife of the late Vincent J. Riccardi; devoted mother of Linda Riccardi of Humarock and Carol Riccardi Gahan & her husband Richard of Wrentham; loving grandmother of Alicia, Patrick, Brendan and Emily; and dear sister of the late Frank Ladny. Visitation will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, from 9:30-10:45 AM, with a prayer service starting at 10:45 AM. Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Bennington Boulevard, Bourne, at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Helen's memory may be made to the Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
