Rosemarie Amabile Egerton, 83, of Pembroke, formerly of Weymouth, passed away on May 12, 2015. Loving mother of Arthur E. Egerton, Jr. of Pembroke. Former wife of the late Arthur E. "Edgie" Egerton, Sr. Beloved sister to Ralph Amabile Jr, and his wife June, of Kennebunk, ME, Joan Amabile Anderson and her husband Walter of Weymouth, Jeanne Amabile of Kennebunk, ME, and the late William Amabile. Cherished Aunt to Kara Anderson of Weymouth, Steven Anderson of Spokane, WA, and Donna Amabile, William Amabile, Lisa Nedeau, and Denise Hamilton all of Kennebunk, ME. Rosemarie was also very close friends to David and Janice McCormack and family of Abington, as well as her two favorite cats, "Jesse" and "James". Rosemarie was an enthusiastic, lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox. She was very active within the community of Pembroke, and very involved in the elections, town meetings, as well as the 300th anniversary committee. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 15th from 4-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th at 9:30 AM at the First Church in Pembroke. Interment will be at Center cemetery in Pembroke. In lieu of flowers the Egerton family kindly requests donations may be made to: Pembroke Youth Baseball, PO Box 215, Pembroke, MA 02359 and/or Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
