Obituary of Ruth T. Beane

Please share a memory of Ruth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ruth Tirrell Beane, 93, of East Weymouth, Massachusetts died peacefully January 31, 2015 in her sleep at Radius Healthcare Center in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Ruth is survived by children: Linda Beane Robinson, Carolyn Beane Beckley, Robert George Beane and grandchildren: Daniel Eugene Beckley, Julia Beckley Eichenlaub, Alison Margaret Beane, and Lauren Elizabeth Beane. Ruth and her beloved husband, the late Robert H. Beane had been married for 60 years. Ruth dedicated her life to her family and her church. She was born in East Weymouth, Massachusetts where she grew up and graduated from high school. In her youth she loved to roller skate, and she worked for banks in her early adult years. Ruth and her family have lived in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Virginia; and she became actively involved with community and church activities wherever her family lived. Ruth loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and she was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She was a patient teacher to her children, Cub Scouts, Brownies, and children at Vacation Bible School; and she was always willing to listen. Ruth’s patient, instructive ways have inspired two generations of teachers in the family. Over the years, Ruth has also enjoyed entertaining friends at home, square dancing, sewing, helping neighbors and people at church, and playing golf. A private family graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Fairmont Cemetery in East Weymouth, Massachusetts.
