Please share a memory of Matthew to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Liddell, Matthew G. June 23, 1983 - March 22, 2015. Matthew G. Liddell, 31, of Carver, MA passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 22, 2015. Matthew grew up in Carver and was educated in the Carver school system. He was a dedicated, hardworking laborer who was so very proud to be working by his family’s side at Liddell Brothers, Inc. He also took great pride in his job at Emerald Isle Plumbing. He enjoyed riding and fixing his bikes, good music, the outdoors and collecting toys, but most of all; he loved that prized ‘88 Oldsmobile Brougham of his! Being with his family and friends always brought laughter, an unexpected adventure, good times and happy memories that we’ll all cherish forever. He loved his children more than anyone will ever know. He was the loving father of Jack, Rowen, Ava and Violet Liddell. He was the dear, loving son of Gail (Sherman) Hurley, and her husband Bob of Carver, and Timothy Liddell and his wife Sharon of Plymouth. He also leaves his dear siblings, Josh Liddell, Emily (Liddell) Lombardo and her husband Tony, and Sam and Katie Hurley all of Carver. Jason Hurley and his wife Lauren of Gardner, Brian Hurley and his wife Cynthia of Plymouth, John Hurley and his wife Heather of Sagamore Beach and TJ and Marc Liddell, both of Plymouth. He was the loving nephew of many aunts and uncles and a cousin to many. He also had several nieces and nephews and was a kid himself at heart. He was an extremely loyal, fun-loving friend to many over the years and enjoyed good company. Everyone loved a good ‘Matt story’ and we all have them! He will be missed dearly and always remembered with love in all of our hearts. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home 116 Main St, Carver (Rt.58) Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00PM. A Funeral service will be held Monday at Christ Church Parish on Court St Plymouth at 10:00AM. Internment will follow at Vine Hills Cemetery.
