Obituary of Eugene F. Irwin

Eugene F. Irwin Sr., 87 of Carver, formerly of Canton, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Doris V. ( Labuff) Irwin. Loving father to the late Linda Delgiacco and husband Edward of Braintree, Eugene Jr, and his wife Beverly of Venice, FL, Kathleen Roemer and her husband James of Venice, FL, the late Donna Whidden and her husband Wayne of Bridgewater, Kenneth and his wife Karin Quinton of Middleboro, and John and his wife Pauline of Norwood. Loving Grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 14. Gene was a World War II veteran, and retired from Thermo Electron and Raytheon. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 19th from 4 - 7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (rt. 58) Carver. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes, Carver on Friday, March 20th at 9:00 AM. Mr. Irwin will be laid to rest, with military honors, at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne.
