Laurie (Kennedy) Gambino, of Carver, died at home on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the age of 67. She was the wife of Anthony Gambino. Born in Framingham, a daughter of the late Lawrence Kennedy and Ruth (Safstrom) Kennedy, Laurie was raised in Ashland and lived the majority of her life in Hanson and Carver. Laurie was a retired senior legal administrative assistant for several high-profile law firms in the metro Boston area. In addition to her husband, Laurie is survived by her children, Brenda, Janet, Debi, Karen, Matthew, and Kerri; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Joanne Kennedy of Stoughton, MA and Michael Kennedy of Georgia. Visitation will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Friday, February 13, 2015, from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by a prayer service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Mayflower Cemetery, Tremont Street, Duxbury.
