Virginia L. (Young) Berry, age 90, of Carver, formerly of Boston, died on Friday, February 6, 2015, at the Golden Living Center in Plymouth. She was born in Boston, a daughter of the late Emma (Tillotson) & George W. Young. For many years, Virginia worked at the Dorchester Savings Bank in Dorchester. Virginia was the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Berry; dear sister of the late Horeece Power and Dorothy Riley. She is survived by children, George W. McLaughlin of Maine, JoAnn McLaughlin of California and Virginia McLaughlin of Carver, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, (Route 58), Carver, on Thursday, February 12, 2015, from 10:00-11:00 AM, with a prayer service at 11:15 AM. Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Bennington Boulevard, Bourne, at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Virginia's memory may be made to Golden Living Center, 19 Obery Street, Plymouth, MA 02360.
