John Francis (Bud, Buddy) Ledoux, passed away on January 4, 2015 at the age of 86, after several years of failing health. He was the devoted and loving partner of Lorraine O'Brien. Bud was born in Wakefield MA; son of the late Helen (Coakley) and John Francis Ledoux Sr. He grew up and was educated in Wakefield and as a senior in high school enlisted in the U.S Navy and served on the U.S.S Sarisfield Destroyer during W.W.II. Bud was employed by American Scale & Conveyor in Dorchester MA, as a mechanical engineer and retired after 38 years as senior manager. He was a true lover of life , boating, scuba diving and playing golf. He never missed the opportunity to share his love and laughter with family and friends. Bud was a lifetime member of The Country Club of Halifax and served as president of the golf association since 1968. He is pre deceased by his sisters , Florence Thompson, Phylis Winters, his brother Michael Ledoux. Bud will be sadly missed by his loving sister Joan Logue, of Wakefield. Bud is survived by his loving son Gary Ledoux and his wife Isaura of Plymouth, "Daughter of his Heart" Inez Rose of Hanover, cherished grand children Nicole Hall of Mashpee, Eurides Ledoux. Pre deceased by Michael Ledoux of Hanover. He was also survived by four great grand children and nieces and nephews. Bud was very much loved and will be sadly missed by his extended family, Marie Stadnik, Bernard and Philar Delory, Leeanne and John Giarratana and Ryan Delory. "Grandchildren of his Heart" Abigail, Joe, Lawrence, Charlie, Lydia, Owen, Christopher, Andrew and Jamie. Bud was loved by Pat and Paul McNeil, Carol and Charlie Estabrook, Gail Keene, Anne and John Bernier, Tom and Judy O' Brien and Steve and Janice O' Brien. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday, January 10 from 12:00 to 2:00PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt106) Kingston. Followed by a funeral service at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations my be made to Boys Town, 234 Monsky Dr, Boys Town, NE 68010 or at boystown.org or The American Heart Association at www.heart.org/donate.
