Obituary of Jan L. Tracey

Jan L. (Wilde) Tracey, 75, of Carver passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014 at her home under the care of family and hospice. She was the wife of the late Thomas O. Tracey. Born in Brockton she was the daughter of the late Russell and Lois (Bourne) Wilde and had lived in Carver for over 50 years. Jan was a customer representative with the Harbor One Bank for many years. She also enjoyed knitting and other crafts. Jan was also active in her community, as a member of the Carver Historical Commission, Community Preservation Committee, and was the founding member of the Lakenham Green Preservation Committee. She also enjoyed volunteering with the United Parish of carver and Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Jan is survived by her daughter Teri Cook and her husband David, son Shawn Tracey and his wife Judi, son Kevin Tracey, grandchildren Meghan, Zachary, Jared, Heath, Phillip and Luke, and Eight great-grandchildren. Visiting hours from the Shepherd Funeral Home 116 Main St (Rt 58) will be held Thursday, December 18 from 3:00 to 8:00PM. A funeral Service will be held Friday at United Parish Carver at 10:00AM. Internment will follow at Lakenham Cemetery in Carver.
