Obituary of Anita Carey

Anita (Stegmaier) Carey, a lifelong resident of Kingston, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at the age of 93. Anita was the daughter of the late Carl & Charlotte (Perkins) Stegmaier both of Kingston and the beloved wife of the late William F. Carey of Kingston. Anita is survived by her four children; F. William Carey and his wife Janis of Venice, FL, Peter C. Carey and his wife Rachelle of Punta Gorda, FL, Elizabeth P. Liscombe and her husband George of Halifax and Catherine R. McCarthy of Kingston. She was also the beloved Grandmother of Jason Carey, Jennifer Caizzi, Wendy Doncaster, Beth Silverman, Edmund King III, Jacob McCarthy, Jess Mullen-Carey and Sarah Carey and also nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Anita was also predeceased by her brothers, John Stegmaier and Louis Stegmaier and her sister, Jeanette Dickson. Services to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anita's name may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
