Obituary of Bernadette M. Fleming

Bernadette M. Fleming, age 89, of Duxbury, formerly of South Boston, died on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at BayPath Nursing Center in Duxbury. Bernadette was born in South Boston on June 3, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Thomas & Margaret (Drummey) Fleming and was the sister of the late Katherine Fleming and Joan Keaney. Bernadette was a longtime employee of Howes Leather Company, formerly in South Boston and Braintree. She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews; Jeanne & John Belekevich of Duxbury, Michele Keaney of Halifax, Michael & Cheryl Keaney of Kingston, Thomas & Nancy Keaney of Centerville, Gerard Keaney of Whitman and JoAnne & Robert Iadeluca of East Greenwich, RI. She is also survived by many dear great-nieces and great-nephews. There will be no visiting hours. Her funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street, Duxbury, on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at 10:30 AM. Interment services will follow at the Holyhood Cemetery, 587 Heath Street, Brookline, at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
