Our thoughts and prayers are with David's family. He was a wonderful friend, and fellow employee. We had some good times together, and I tried to get the two of them out here to Arizona for a winter visit, but they never made it. He was the best at flea markets and garage sales. He really enjoyed chasing bargains. May he rest in the arms of our Lord. God Bless him and his family.

Terry and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. It has been such a difficult year for you--first your mom and now your dad. Family is everything in life and we feel the pain of your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sorry to hear of your father's passing. My late wife & I loved to meet your folks for lunch at the Senior Center. We solved most, if not all, of the world's problem.
I'm sorry I didn't get to see him before he passed, but I'm now at home recovering from cancer surgery. Because I just got home, I'm not up to going out to his service. You know, hospitals throw you out almost immediately after you wake up in the recovery room.
I just want you to know that he was a great man and a gentleman, through and through. But you probably already knew that. And to David S, thanks for taking care of him. I now have my daughter beating on me, changing dressings & emptying drains from my body. You don't realize how much that means to us as we get along in years.
Don't forget, the VA should provide death benefits for him. They will pay a plot fee of $300, plus a headstone if he's not buried in the National Cemetery. Since he was 100% disabled, they will also pay towards the funeral. Please call Priscilla at the Veterans' Office (781-585-0515), she'll help you out.
Again, my condolences. - Bill Martin, Veterans' Agent
