Obituary of Robert T. Ouellette

Robert T. Ouellette, 69, recently of Bridgewater, died peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on October 15, 2014. Born is Springfield, Bob was the devoted son of the late Adrienne Y. (Rivard) Ouellette Mayotte and Adrien H. Ouellette. Loving husband of Vicki Shankey. Loving father of Adrien Andrew Ouellette of Ludlow, Thomas Robert Ouellette and wife Ana of Gaithersburg, MD, Robert Thomas Ouellette and his wife Sue of Agawam, and Anne Mary Pouliot and her husband Dan of W. Springfield. "Pepere" of 6 grandchildren, Adam, Maxwell, Sean, Christopher, Liam, and Karime. Loving brother of Rita Ouellette of Pembroke, Adrienne and John Nieptuski, Michelle, and Sander Winofker of Fleming Island, FL, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Robert was always involved in projects to improve his surroundings and make his home more efficient, and comfortable. He especially enjoyed driving his little convertible sports cars while playing "oldies but goodies" on the tape deck. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th from 9-10:30 AM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral mass will follow at St. Joseph the Worker, 1 Maquan St, Hanson at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at the Center cemetery in Pembroke. Bob was an avid animal lover and a strong supporter of ASPCA and the American Cancer Society, and donations would be welcomed.
