Obituary of Ellen E. Hyland

Ellen E. Hyland, 56, of Carver, passed away on September 30, 2014. She was the devoted wife of Thomas Hyland. Daughter of Claire McGourty and the late John McGourty. Ellen is also survived by her daughter, Kerry Connelly and her husband Sean, her son DJ Hyland and his wife Jackie, her son Thomas Hyland and his wife Nicky, and her son Craig Hyland. She also leaves behind her siblings, Thomas, Kathleen, John, Paul, and Ann Marie. Ellen was the beloved grandmother to eight, and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was a loving friend to so many. She was always welcoming, generous, kind, and Ellen will truly be missed by all who knew her. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 7th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. A funeral mass will be held at St. Kateri Parish, 126 S. Meadow Rd, Plymouth at 10:00 AM on Wesnesday, October 8th. Interment will be at the Plymouth County cemetery.
