Obituary of Raul P. Teixeira

Raul P. Teixeira (Roy), age 88, of Kingston, died on Monday, August 25, 2014, at Wingate at Silver Lake Nursing Home in Kingston. He was born in Marion, son of the late Emilio & Louise Teixeira. Roy was a lifelong resident of Kingston and was a veteran in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was also a member of Saint Joseph's Parish in Kingston. Roy was the beloved husband of the late Josephine (Pina) Teixeira. Survivors include his brother, Abreau (Julio) Teixeira and many nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by his siblings, Avelino Teixeira, Anthony Teixeira, Domingo Teixeira, Catherine Barros, Phyllis Louden and Louise Barros. There will be no visiting hours. Family and friends are welcome to his funeral Mass which will be held at Saint Joseph's Church, 272 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Elm Street, (Route 80), Kingston.
