Billy was such a dear man. I always admired his sense of inner peace, and willingness to engage others in thoughtful conversations on a broad range of world topics. You could tell he was proud of his Peace Corps work, and perhaps that programmed him for a life of generous giving to others (or just reinforced that within him). My fond memories of fishing with Billy on the Vineyard and Nauset Beach will endure, and he will live in our hearts forever.
