Obituary of Adam Stanhope

Adam “McQueen” Stanhope, age 44, of Pembroke , unexpectedly passed away in his sleep August 5, 2014. Adam was born and raised in Pembroke. He attended Silver Lake and Hingham High School.
Adam traveled around the world with his father as a graduation present before attending UC Berkley in CA. It was during this trip he met his true love, Wichan. They married in 1991 and raised their beautiful daughter, Taki in Kingston, MA where Adam was a software developer and entrepreneur.
In addition to his wife Wichan (Direcksen), and his daughter Kasimiria Taksapon Stanhope, he is survived by loving parents, William Edison Stanhope and Peterene (Swestis) Stanhope. He was the loving brother of Victoria Panacy and her husband Kenneth Panacy of Pembroke; cherished Uncle Adam of Willamina and Alexandra Panacy. Adam is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiting hours Wednesday from 4pm – 8pm in the Shepherd Funeral Home, Pembroke. A celebration of Adam’s life will be held Thursday, August 14, at 11am at the Knights of Columbus, Kingston, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for Adam’s daughter and wife – The Stanhope Family Fund - at any Rockland Trust location.
