Lisa Newcomb (Parker), 47, of Hanson, formerly of Pembroke and Plymouth, died August 4th, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Lisa graduated from Silver Lake High School and worked for many years at the Memorial Press Group (MPG), the Mariner Papers and Next Generation Press. Lisa was a lover of life, always positive and adventurous with an outgoing and sociable personality. Anyone who met her knew that she was special in her love for bright colors, hummingbirds, country music, crafts, traveling, photography and fishing. A favorite outing often ended at Woods Seafood in Plymouth for a plate of fried scallops or clams. Lisa was a free spirit with a great sense of humor. Her laughter will be missed by her family and many loving friends. She leaves Stephen Feci, her loving partner always and forever. She was the devoted mother of David Newcomb of Pembroke and Daniel Newcomb of Plymouth. Lisa is survived by five siblings, Dianne Stanton of Pembroke, Stephen Whiting (Judy Grob-Whiting) of Framingham, Gina Angell of Duxbury, Kimberly Parker of Westborough and Julia Parker (Scott Dormer) of Marina del Rey, CA. She is predeceased by her parents, Helen Severin and Jesse P Mizelle and her brother, David Parker. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and two grandchildren. The calling hours for the celebration of Lisa's life will be held August 8th between 4:00pm - 8:00pm at the Shepherd Funeral home in Pembroke, MA.
