Obituary of Helen A. Steeves

Helen Alice (Shulakovsky) Steeves, age 85, died peacefully July 3, 2014, at the Life Care Center of Plymouth, lovingly surrounded by her family. A devoted wife of 54 years to the late Aubrey Blake Steeves, she was born in Revere, September 22, 1928, the daughter of the late Alexander and Josephine Shulakovsky. She is predeceased by siblings Jenny, Anne, Julia, Evelyn and Stanley. She was a native of Chelsea/Everett but made her home in Pembroke for the past 35 years. Helen loved her family, home and garden. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crosswords puzzles. She is survived by her children, Patrice Flanagan and husband James of Pembroke, Aubrey Steeves Jr. and wife Sandra of New Hampshire, her granddaughter Michelle (Andrews) Feudo and husband John, and her great grandchildren Ryan and Jackson Feudo, along with extended family and friends. A graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Bryantville at 11am Saturday July 12th.
