Obituary of Marlene Ann Lane

Marlene Ann Lane, 75, of Middleborough, formerly of Pembroke, and OFD, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. She spent her last few months surrounded by family and friends as she laughed and loved while courageously battling pancreatic cancer. Devoted wife to the late John E. Lane, Sr. Loving mother to Christine Lane Jeffries of Geneva, NY, Patrick Lane of Pembroke, Ginger Comeau of Pembroke, Marianne Brown of Halifax, Paul Lane of Pembroke and Kathleen Boccalini of Sandwich, and the late John Lane Jr. Loyal sister and sister in law to John Miner, Paul Miner, Mary White, and Gerard and Carol Lane. Adoring Grammy to her 13 grandchildren, and 8 grand puppies. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a wonderful group of close knit friends. Her strong commitment to family, faith, and friends was an inspiration to those who knew her. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph the Worker, 1 Maquan St, Hanson, on Monday, June 23rd at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at the Center Cemetery in Pembroke.
