Obituary of Louise J. Galas

Louise J. (Gervino) Galas, of Carver, formerly of Dorchester, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2014, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, MA. Louise was the devoted wife of the late Henry J. Galas. Louise spent 29 years working as a Shift Manager for Papa Gino's in Plymouth. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and spending time with her family. Born on April 16, 1951, Louise was the daughter of the late Ralph and Josephine Gervino; loving mother of John H. Galas of Carver and Anthony J. Galas and his wife Jennifer L. Galas of Plymouth; dear sister of Dr. Ernest V. Gervino and his wife Peggy Gervino of Quincy. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, (Route 58), Carver, on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Carver, on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at 9:30 AM, followed by her funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 130 Main Street, (Route 58), Carver at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Bennington Boulevard, Bourne, at 12:30 PM.
