Obituary of Mary Rita Tarantino

Mary Rita (Ricardo) Tarantino, age 92, passed away quietly at her home, on Thursday, May 1, 2014, with her family at her side. Mary was born in Plymouth, MA, on July 27, 1921. Her parents were Maria Das Mello & Manuel Ricardo of Saint Michaels, Azores. Mary is the last of a passing generation of both the Ricardo family and the Tarantino family. She like to play cards and win, rake her lawn and clean her house meticulously. Mary leaves Phillip J. Tarantino, Carol J. Davis, Barbara A. St. Onge and their families, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Monday, May 5, 2014, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston, on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at 9:00 AM, followed by her funeral Mass at Saint Joseph's Church, 272 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Plymouth.
