Obituary of Eleanor A. Nali

Eleanor A. (Comeau) Nali, age 75, of Kingston, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife of Ernest Nali for 54 years; devoted mother of Laureen Wagner and her husband Kenneth, Leonard Nali and Janet Penza, Linda Sciotto and her husband Anthony, Leigh Nali, Louis Nali and his wife Noelle, and the late Lawrence Nali. She was also “Gammie” to 14 grandchildren and a loving aunt to dozens of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters, Louise Casale and Joan Bryant and her lifelong friend, Connie (Sweetie); preceded in death by brothers, Gene and Norman Comeau; sisters, Lorraine McKenzie and Marie Flynn and lifelong friend, Diane (Deenie).
Born and raised in Somerville, she was educated at Saint Anne’s in Somerville and Saint Clement’s High School in Medford. A devout Catholic, Eleanor was a proud member of the Saint Joseph’s Parish in Kingston. She cherished family get-togethers and being around her many friends who she treated as family. She enriched and touched the lives of everyone she knew, especially at her favorite bowling and bingo spots, and in return her life was filled with love and laughter.
Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street, (Route 14), Pembroke Center, on Thursday, May 1, 2014, from 4:00-8:00 PM.
Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Pembroke Center, on Friday, May 2, 2014, at 10:00 AM, followed by her funeral Mass at Saint Joseph's Church, 272 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, at 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Elm Street, (Route 80), Kingston.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Eleanor's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
