Obituary of Christopher F. McCarthy

Christopher Frederick McCarthy, of Kingston, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday April 8, 2014. He was 25 years old. Chris was born December 26, 1988 in Brockton, MA the son of Lorraine, and Richard McCarthy. Chris loved his family, friends, golf, traveling and the love of his life Sydney Sullivan. Chris enjoyed the outdoors, and being with the people he loved. He worked at the Boston Beer Garden in South Boston for many years, and began a career at Travelers Insurance last spring. Chris was a very special person who was adored, respected, and admired. He enriched and touched the lives of everyone he knew, and in return his life was filled with love and laughter. Whether it was a short conversation or a lifelong bond, Chris took a piece of everyone he met and truly treasured every experience he was a part of. Chris leaves behind his beloved siblings; his sister Sara, his brother Jack and his fiancé Heather Croke. Chris comes from a large loving family, and will be missed by so many aunts, uncles, cousins, and an incredible amount of true best friends. In lieu of flowers we encourage you to live your life the way Chris did, cherish every experience, appreciate every second,and live your life with purpose every day. Chris may have only been with us for 25 short years, but he didn’t waste one moment. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 10th, from 3-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, (rt. 106) ,Kingston. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 11th, at 11:00 AM, at St. Joseph's church, Kingston. Interment will be private.
