Mary (Condon) Ackerman, 100, of Kingston formerly of Brockton, Wareham, and Duxbury, died peacefully at her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving family on April 4, 2014. Wife of the late Edward Ackerman, she leaves behind her son Edward Ackerman Jr. and his wife Carol of Falmouth, and their children: Brenda Ackerman of Falmouth, and Brian Ackerman of California. She also leaves behind her daughter, Marjorie Ackerman of Kingston, and her children: Kristen McDonnell and her husband John of Plymouth, Robert Jasmin and his wife Deborah of Agoura Hills, California, and Janell Snell and her husband Dwayne of Plymouth. She also leaves her sister Helen Lemieux of Duxbury. Mary was predeceased by her sister’s:Katherine Giles, and Rita Cronin, as well as her brother Tommy Condon. She was also survived by 11 great grandchildren. Mary was born in Brockton and grew up there; she was the daughter of late Margret (Hallisey) and David Condon. Mary’s biggest joy in life was her family. Everyone will remember her for her bright smile, beautiful face, great style and kind ways. She was an amazing woman who was loved by all and will be missed by all! Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (106) Kingston on Friday April 11th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 601 Tremont Street Duxbury, on Saturday April 12th at 11:00 AM. Mary will be laid to rest next to her husband Ed at a later date in Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury, Mass. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society Holy Family Church 601 Tremont Street Duxbury Mass, 02332
