Obituary of Louise Catherine Ratto

Louise Catherine Ratto, age 89, of Kingston, formerly of Dorchester, Duxbury and Plymouth, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at the Wingate at Silver Lake in Kingston. Raised in Dorchester, Louise retired after a long career at the John Hancock Life Insurance Company. A loving and caring person, Louise will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was the loving daughter of the late John Baptiste Ratto & Theodora (Cuneo) Ratto; beloved sister of John Ratto & his wife Frances of Needham, Charles Ratto & his wife Noel of Sudbury, the late Eugene Ratto & his surviving wife Patricia Ratto of Wellesley and the late Marie Ratto; loving and devoted aunt of Eugene Ratto, Jr. of Needham, Elizabeth Ratto of Brookline, Jane Daniels of Brookline, Mary Ellen Royer of Westwood, Nancy Folan of Norwood, Joanne Ross of Nashua, NH, Edward McShane of Kingston, Joanna Dow of Duxbury, James McShane of Needham and Chris Ratto of Sudbury; loving and devoted great-aunt of 21 grandnieces and grandnephews. There will be no visiting hours. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at Saint Joseph's Church, 272 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Friday, April 11, 2014, at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Saint Joseph's Church, 272 Main Street, Kingston, MA 02364.
