Sandra Ann Kehoe, of Duxbury, died peacefully at her home, supported and surrounded by her family, on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the age of 71. She was the beloved wife of Daniel K. Kehoe for 50 years. She is survived by her sons; Brian S. Kehoe of Kingston, Paul D. Kehoe of Brewster, Scott A. Kehoe and daughter-in-law Alicyn Kehoe of Kingston. She was also the proud and loving grandmother (Nan) to Andrew O. Kehoe, Bridget E. Kehoe and Daniel S. Kehoe. Sandra was born in Boston, MA, on February 12, 1943. She grew up in Quincy, MA and was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Helen Spanley. She graduated from Quincy High School where she was the lead drum majorette for the Quincy High School Marching Band in 1960. She attended and graduated the prestigious Peter Bent Brigham School of Nursing in 1962 with her registered nursing credential. She maintained an active nursing career that spanned from teaching institutions to private nursing as well as group and individual practices with a focus and passion for pediatrics. She was most recently an active volunteer in the town of Duxbury’s Senior Center, where she assisted in the area of emergency relief procedures. In her leisure, she enjoyed her time with her family and close friends. She shared a special bond with several of her son’s friends since childhood and held a special place for them in her heart. Sandra was especially fond of painting, playing piano, and preparing special family meals. She was the passion and preparation for all holiday gatherings. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Thursday, March 27, 2014, from 4:00-7:00 PM. Her funeral service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston, on Friday, March 28, 2014, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Mayflower Cemetery, 774 Tremont Street, Duxbury. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, in memory of Sandra Ann Kehoe, to support cancer research and patient care, at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
