Obituary of Joseph G. Ebert

Joseph "Joe" G. Ebert, age 52, of Pembroke, died on Monday, March 3, 2014, at his home. Born in Boston on April 5, 1961, he was the son of the late William & Anna (Curran) Ebert. Joe grew up in Weymouth. He worked at Alvin Hollis Oil in South Weymouth for many years and at the Weathervane Construction Corporation in South Weymouth for several years. For the last few years, Joe worked at the Old Oak Landscape Supply in Pembroke. He loved his family and enjoyed the outdoors including landscaping his own yard. Joe also had a passion for motorcycles. Joe was the beloved husband for 30 years to Cathy J. (Laing) Ebert; loving father of Joseph C. Ebert of Pembroke and Katie A. Ebert of Rockland & her fiancée Michelangelo Duarte; dear brother of William Ebert of Maine, Jean Leonida of Florida, Mary Fiorini of Hanson, John Ebert of Middleborough, Annmarie Nicholas of Bridgewater and the late Carol Hackett. There will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held at the New Hope Chapel, 89 Court Street, Plymouth, on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at 11:00 AM. Interment services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joe's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
